Nancy's clothing designs are
known for their style, comfort and mixture of fabrics;
this makes them unique and appealing to quilters.
Although Nancy's patterns are very beautiful, they
are easy to make - no darts, no zippers, no interfacing
and only an occasional buttonhole.
Nancy's
flair for mixing colors and fabrics is apparent in
the photographs on the covers of her patterns. She
shares her ideas and suggestions in each pattern under
a section called "Fabric Selection". Her patterns
provide clear and easy to follow instructions with
many illustrations.
Designing
wearable art patterns has not diminished Nancy's enthusiasm
for quilting. She teaches quilting techniques and
a popular class on color and fabric selection for
quilters at The Country Quilter in Somers, NY. Nancy's
quilts have won numerous ribbons and awards, and her
"Baltimore Nights" quilt has been on tour in the United
States and Europe. Her wearable art designs have been
featured in various publications and on television.
